I love making all kinds of juices. This is mainly because I don’t like eating raw veggies, but by mixing veggies with citrus juices and fruits, it gives them a better flavor!
I use this recipe as a pick me upper, since it’s full of antioxidants and detoxifying properties. Below I am giving you a quick breakdown of the properties of each ingredient and exactly how I combine them. The water and orange juice levels can be adjusted to your preference. I like mine fairly thick which is why I use a blender. You could also use a VitaMix for a smoother taste. Enjoy!
Turmeric- anti inflammatory, antioxidant
Lime- antioxidant, detoxifying
Green apple- rich in fiber and other minerals like iron, zinc and potassium
Kale- Vitamin A, C and K, fiber and minerals like potassium, calcium and zinc
Celery- Vitamin K, B2, B6 and C, also good source of fiber and folate
Recipe:
10 oz of water
8 oz of orange juice
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1 lime
1 green apple
1 kale leaf
2 celery stalks
